We are a community of researchers at the University of Bonn who are interested in making research more open, transparent and collaborative.
The Open Science Community Bonn brings together researchers from different disciplines who want to exchange ideas, learn from each other and explore Open Science practices.
Open Science Meetup
We meet on the second Thursday of every month at 12:15 pm for a shared lunch followed by coffee and informal exchange on Open Science topics. The location alternates between:
- In even months, we meet at the CAMPO Mensa Poppelsdorf (Meeting point: main entrance). Followed by coffee and discussion in the MNL Library.
- In uneven months, we meet at the Kantine Bundesrechnungshof (Meeting point: gate on the right-hand side). Followed by coffee and discussion in the Main Library.

Support for Open Science at the University of Bonn
The Open Science Community Bonn is supported by the University of Bonn’s central Open Science service units: the Research Data Service Center and the Open Access Service Center of the University and State Library. Together, they provide expertise, services, and infrastructure that help strengthen Open Science across the university.
